To satisfy the academic needs of the students, the University offers:

Food and Beverage

There are cafeterias and coffee shops available in the University.

Computer Facilities

Students may use the computer labs with free access to the internet.

ID Card

Students receive a UFT identification card, which enables them to use the various services offered by the University.

Library

Students may make full use of the bibliographic resources available in the libraries of the University.

Orientation

International Students attend a special program of orientation in UFT. The International Programs Office administers the registration process, as well as all administrative and academic issues for foreign students. It serves as a liaison between international students and the different schools, and may also provide personal counseling.

The University does not have live-in residence for its students, nor does it recommend specific alternatives, but the International Programs Office may provide information regarding hotels, youth hostels, etc. Students interested in living with Chilean families are informed of an independent free-lance service to make such arrangements.

2. Youth Hostels

a) Hosteling International Santiago
When the student arrives in Santiago, s/he can go to this youth hostel, the cost is around US$ 11 daily for members of the International Youth Hostel Federation, otherwise, the student may register there and the cost would be US$ 15.
